The Tito Brothers started their small brewing operation in Latrobe, Pennsylvania in the last years of the 1930s and they made the fateful deciaion to bottle their unique pale lager in a distinctive green bottle with a painted-on label. The beer – and its bottle – struck a chord with the hardworking folks of the northeast, and a regional favorite was born.
